What is MegaSowar?
MegaSowar is a photojournalism blog run by Sowar
Magazine. It showcases photostories, pictures of the week, and
random shots from around the Arab World. The focus of MegaSowar
is on large, powerful pictures that reflect events in the region.
What
does MegaSowar mean?
Mega
means 'huge' and Sowar means 'pictures' in Arabic. MegaSowar is
a photoblog which showcases large pictures about the Arab World.
Can
anyone submit photos to MegaSowar?
Yes, anyone can submit photos to the MegaSowar blog. You
do not have to be a professional to send in pictures. However, the
pictures should be:
1) recent, 2) newsworthy and 3) of good quality. Please read the

How
many pictures can I submit and when do I submit them?
You can submit as many pictures as you like and whenever you want
to. The only requirement is that the pictures should be recent (taken
within the past week or two is best).
How
often do you publish photos on your blog?
We currently publish photos on a frequent basis (every 1 to 2 weeks),
but we do not have a specific day as of this time (so check back
often!).
Can
I use the photos from your blog on my website?
MegaSowar does not own the photographs. The copyright belongs 100%
to the photographer or agency listed next to each photo. Using the
photos is strictly prohibited without the consent of the photographer/
agency. You can, however, get in touch with the photographer/ agency
and request permission from them directly.
