MegaSowar
is YOUR blog. If you’ve taken any great photos in the past
week or so that reflect what’s happening in your area, and
you’re interested in showcasing them, send them in and we'll
display them right here! We will include your name and your website/
email address underneath each photo that gets published. Anyone
can submit photos to the MegaSowar blog - you do not have to be
a professional photographer to send in any pictures.
>Type
of Photos
MegaSowar is a journalistic and documentary photography blog. It
is NOT about artistic or abstract photography.
This means that the photos you submit need to have a story behind
them. You can send in as many photos as you want and at anytime
that you take them, but please follow these guidelines:
- The pictures should be taken in the past 1 to
2 weeks
- The
pictures should be newsworthy, and they could be of anything that’s
going on around you (nightlife, day life, etc.); preferably including
shots of people
- The pictures should be of good quality
Please do not send anything related to artistic
photography or pure scenes that don't have any interesting story
behind them.
>Size
and Format
Each photo needs to be at least 990 pixels in width
and in JPG format.
>Instructions
Please send all your pictures to this email address: submissions[at]sowarmag[dot]com
and include the following information:
- Your name
- Your
email or website address that you would like to have posted underneath
your picture
- A one to two sentence description of each photo
that you submit (including date, location and any interesting
story behind the picture)
