TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PHOTOGRAPH PUBLISHING AUTHORIZATION AND RELEASE

By submitting the photographs through this website or by way of e-mail, I hereby irrevocably and perpetually authorize Pix S.a.r.l (the "Company") to publish or cause the publishing of such photographs described herebelow (the "Photographs") (i) in the Company’s magazine entitled “Sowar”, (ii) in websites owned and/or controlled by Company and (iii) in any other media whether or not controlled by the Company, including, without limitation, newspapers, magazines, websites and books for the purposes of promoting the Minute 22 project.

I acknowledge that Company is under no obligation to publish the Photographs submitted by me. I acknowledge and agree that the submission of the Photographs by me is on the basis of a free contribution to Minute 22 project and that I shall not be entitled to any compensation or payment of any nature whatsoever in connection with the publication of the Photograph.

While I shall retain copyright in the Photographs, I agree that Company shall own all right, title, and interest in any compilation, collective work or other derivative work created by Company using or incorporating the Photographs.

I understand and agree that my name will be credited as photographer of the Photographs when and if published by Company, either next to the photo or within the editorial section of any such publication.

I hereby authorize the Company to edit and modify the Photographs (e.g. crop, watermark, resize, color-correct) and/ or accompanying desciptive text (e.g. spelling, grammar, word choice) for its own purposes.

I further represent and warrant that (i) the Photographs were taken on August 22, 2008, at 2:22 PM Lebanon time, (ii) any associated descriptions, names, dates, locations submitted by me are true, (iii) the Photographs do not and shall not infringe on any copyright or any other third party right nor violate any applicable law or regulation, (iv) I am the owner of the copyrights in the Photographs and that I have the right to grant any and all necessary rights and authorizations provided herein, including without limitation, all necessary copyright and other related rights to the Photographs, free and clear of all claims and encumbrances without violating the rights of any person or entity, including any right to privacy or publicity, and (v) I have obtained express consent from all persons depicted in the Photographs, including permission from parents of minors.

I hereby agree to release, hold harmless and indemnify the Company from and against any claims, damages or liability arising from or related to the Photographs and any breach of the terms and conditions or representations and warranties hereunder.
