• Lebanon War: 2006 Conflict
A documentary about the Lebanese War (July 2006). It will be divided
into two main sections, one is a “Snapshot-a-Day” during
the timeline of the war by different photojournalists, and the other
is a selection of photoessays that focus on a specific topic during
the war.
Snapshot-a-Day
We are basically asking each photojournalist to submit a selection
of their 10 best photos taken on different dates during the war (and
shortly after it), which we’ll select one of them to publish.
Around 33 to 50 pictures will be published (each representing a different
day of the war). The picture would include commentary on why it meant
so much to you to take that specific picture, or any interesting story
behind it that the average reader might find interesting.
Photoessays
Some photographers have covered a specific topic about the war (either
during or after), and for those photographers, a photoessay of around
12-15 photos with a title and descriptive paragraph will be published
(on around 10 pages).
